Get Narcan® at Westside
Narcan (naloxone) is available at all Westside health centers.

What Is Narcan?
Narcan (naloxone) is a lifesaving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids—including heroin, fentanyl and prescription opioid medications. Narcan is used to bring back normal breathing after an opioid overdose.
There are two forms of Narcan, and Westside will be providing Narcan spray. It is a prefilled device that sprays the medication into the nose.
Why Carry Narcan?
Naloxone saves lives.
Anyone can get it and carry it, whether you use opioids yourself, have friends or family members who do, or think you may encounter someone having an overdose.
Westside is offering Narcan free of charge at all of our locations—no questions asked.

How Do You Use Narcan?
Peel the package open.
Place and hold the tip of the nozzle in either nostril.
Press the plunger firmly to release the dose into the person’s nose.
If no response within three minutes, give a second dose of Narcan in other nostril.
